The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Division supports the activities of Rockdale County Government and its citizens by maintaining and disseminating accurate, current and complete geospatial data. 

Responsibilities: 
The GIS Division is responsible for updating and maintaining a variety of data layers including, but not limited to, Parcels, Zoning, Street Centerlines, Addresses, Lakes & Streams, County Boundaries, Water, Sanitary Sewer and Stormwater.

Mapping services provided by Rockdale County include:

• GIS (Geographical Information Systems)

• Flood Plain Maps (interpretation)
• Soils Map
• Land Use, Ownership, Zoning
• Survey Control Points
• Cadastral, Planometric and Topographical (Topo) Data
