As a service to the community, the Rockdale County Fire Rescue will attend neighborhood block parties, church festivals, homeowner association meetings, scout meetings and children's birthday parties at no charge. 

The firefighters will arrive in a fire engine and give a brief fire safety presentation.  Attendees will be encouraged to ask questions, sit in the fire truck and see and touch the apparatus.

The Fire Department participates in many events throughout the year to promote fire safety and prevention education.

Events range from serving as grand marshal in a neighborhood parade to attending fairs and community-wide events.
