CONYERS, Ga. – The Rockdale County Board of Commissioners is encouraging citizens to come out to an informational meeting to learn more about the County’s proposed sign ordinance and the existing Salem Road Corridor Overlay.

The meeting is Thurs., April 19 from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at Peachtree Academy, 1801 Ellington Rd., Conyers, 30013. Free parking will be available by entering on Wall Street.

Not only will participants be encouraged to pick up materials at the information tables, but to also ask questions.

There will be comment cards distributed widely because officials want to ensure that people’s thoughts and questions are noted.

Besides Rockdale’s Planning and Development staff being available to talk with citizens, guests from neighboring jurisdictions with residents and businesses that could be impacted are invited to provide information and answer questions about their work on these issues, including Newton County and the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce.
